Crissy moved to Charleston in 2005. Born and raised in the Detroit suburb of Grosse Pointe, Michigan, she completed her BA at the University of Michigan, Dearborn. Initially relocating to Charleston for graduate school, Crissy immediately knew upon settling in that Charleston would now forever be home.
Prior to her career in real estate, Crissy worked in the advertising industry, direct sales, and also helped husband Michael with the family marine sales and storage business. She spent her first several years in Charleston assisting a Clinical Research Training program at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Crissy earned her real estate license in 2013 and will be licensed as a SC real estate Broker in 2022. After nearly 10 years as one of Charleston’s top producing agents, Crissy knows that the details matter to her clients. Michael has called Charleston home since 2000 when he relocated to Isle of Palms. Born in Short Hills, NJ, Michael’s family moved to Bloomfield Hills, Michigan where he graduated Brother Rice High School and then on to Charlotte, NC where he graduated UNC-Charlotte.
Prior to obtaining his real estate license, Michael has owned and operated small businesses in the Charleston community for over 20 years. After working in the financial industry, Michael opened Charleston’s first eBay storefront located on Shem Creek, liquidating material goods large and small for clients. Michael sold the eBay business, then built a successful marine storage and sales business allowing him to work with his passion for all things boat/marine related. Michael has a natural ability building trusted relationships with clients, and he places immeasurable value on his friendships and local business relationships fostered over the years.
These days Michael’s career focus is 100% real estate. His real estate experience includes working with investor clients, primary home and vacation home buyers. He has an expert knowledge of our local islands and beach communities including deepwater and beachfront. A passion for all things history, Michael also offers his clients keen insight into the background and nuances when buying or selling real estate in Historic Charleston.
Fun fact: Michael is half English and shares dual citizenship in both the US and the UK. An entertainer at heart, Michael boasts impressive culinary knowledge and loves cooking international cuisine for family and friends.
“Together we live in Mount Pleasant with our daughter and a son who attend school on the downtown peninsula. If we aren’t busy attending a sports practice or game, our family can most often be found boating the local waterways, enjoying golf cart rides around the islands, and enjoying Historic Charleston on Sundays after Mass. Our family humbly serves the Charleston community through various volunteer opportunities. We hope to share our love for all things Lowcountry and real estate with you and your family too.”
